Precautions for use
Contraindications: none known at physiological doses but potentially allergenic (presence of sesquiterpene lactones).
The use of 1.8 cineoles must be controlled in children and infants. As a precautionary measure, internal or rectal use is prohibited before 2 years and the cutaneous route must be controlled. (Dangers reported following accidents of ingestion of large quantities)
In case of high fever in children under 3 years old, they should be diluted at a rate of 20%.
In children with asthma, 1.8 cineoles can sometimes trigger attacks.
