Description
First of all, let's remember that Argan oil is a precious oil used since the dawn of time in beauty care. We’re already off to a pretty good start with this oil 😉
In home cosmetics, we like to use it in treatments intended for mature skin that tends to be rather dry. Indeed, its nourishing properties are remarkable.
However, its low comedogenicity index allows it to also be used on normal or even combination skin.
Its little drawback (which isn't really one) is that it smells a bit... let's say... like a stable! But by adding a few essential oils to your homemade preparation, the problem is solved.
It is a little capricious in emulsions, especially if used in large quantities. To overcome this problem, do not hesitate to accompany it with a second, slightly less rich vegetable oil (Jojoba oil, for example).
You should also know that this oil is sold more than produced, which means that it is often replaced by sweet almond oil! What do you want, humans and their taste for profit...
So, if your Argan oil has absolutely no smell… beware this could be a sign 😉
